Utilizing FDM printing for more than just scale

3D printing has long been seen as a "good visual" so you know roughly how big something is going to be and if it will fit. This is especially true for FDM prints. However, as technology advanced, those prints are capable of being more than a rough model.

Here, we have printed a modular platform for our client Phase Three Product Development to do testing in multiple configurations. This print utilizes heat set thread inserts to provide a plethora of mounting locations as testing advances through their project.

Is this something your company utilizes? Can we help create a solution like this for you?
